Discover the French techniques that bring Creole cuisine to life in this jazzy culinary experience!

In this hands-on class with Chef Jalenia, you will learn how to perform an array of French cooking techniques that will provide you with skills and knowledge to prepare a rustic, yet refined three-course Creole menu.

Chef Jalenia will begin by teaching you how to prepare an indulgent appetizer of crab-stuffed shrimp. Then, you will learn how to build layers of flavor in a Creole jambalaya studded with chicken, shrimp, and sausage. For dessert, you will end with a show-stopping bananas foster complete with pyrotechnics and ice cream.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

The best things come in small packages, and Chef Jalenia is no exception. Her positive energy is infectious making for a great learning environment in a very spacious kitchen where she can be seen deftly moving from station to station without missing a beat. The highlight of the menu is the baked fish entree. It was as moist & delicious as it was aromatic & balanced - couldn't wait to try this dish.
