Cooking Class - Colorful Curries of Asia

What You'll Do

Join Chef Matt on a kaleidoscopic discovery of colorful curries from different regions of Asia.

In this hands-on class with Chef Matt, you'll learn the differences and similarities between regional Asian curries and their commonly known progenitor — the classic yellow curry — and how each country adds a little something special to define its geographical uniqueness.

You'll begin your journey in Japan by learning how to craft a Japanese golden curry. Then, you'll head to Thailand and learn to prepare a Thai green curry. Chef Matt will teach you how to make all of the curry powders and pastes from scratch as well as proper rice preparation.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
