Cooking Class - Authentic Chinese Cuisine

Put down the takeout menu and pick up traditional techniques to create authentic Chinese cuisine.

In this hands-on class, Chef Andy will teach you traditional Chinese culinary techniques that you won't learn anywhere else as you prepare an authentic three-course Chinese menu.

You will be making everything from scratch using the highest quality ingredients available including the wrappers for an abalone and shrimp shumai, an authentic Chinese-style crepe to go with your Beijing roasted duck, and for dessert, a soy milk pudding. After you've experienced the beauty of Chinese food at its most authentic, you will never order take out again!

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

After honing his culinary skills at Chinese Culture University in Taiwan, Chef Andy continued on at the university as a research assistant testing experimental cuisine and co-authoring a cookbook with his professor. While in Taiwan, he also served as the chief chef at a U.S. Air Force base before finding his passion as a high school culinary instructor. Now, Chef Andy can be found teaching his own diverse, unique cooking classes.
