We really enjoyed Chef Iain’s class. This was easily one of our favorites! The menu selection was fantastic, especially the tapas-style variety. I was thrilled that we got to make homemade flatbread—it was such a pleasant surprise and definitely a highlight. The food variety was excellent, and the smaller, more intimate class size made the experience even more enjoyable. It felt personal and engaging without being overwhelming. The only thing that kept it from being a perfect 10 was the room temperature. It was quite warm, and with the ovens on and no noticeable AC or fan, it got a little uncomfortable at times. That said, everything else was wonderful, and we’d absolutely take another class with Chef Iain.

Chef Iain was an absolute pleasure to learn from. My boyfriend and I had our date night and took the Mediterranean Comfort Food class where we learned to make stuffed mushrooms, moussaka, and panna cotta. We're both pretty familiar with our way around the kitchen and Chef Iain still showed us some new tricks we'll be adding into our cooking repertoire!

Had so much fun last weekend with Chef Iain! I learned so many new techniques ie how to cut an onion the RIGHT way, how to keep the cutting board from slipping, and so much more. Chef Iain was welcoming, patient, humorous, and kind. Also, everything in the kitchen was immaculately clean and organized. The food was delicious and there was more than enough of it - were even sent home with the yummy leftovers! I would definitely participate in his other menus. Such a great time.

My husband (who is a seasoned cook) and I absolutely loved the menu and decided to sign up. We were warmly greeted from his balcony and felt comfortable from the beginning. His knowledge and expertise was impressive …ranging from simple strategies when working with spices to more complex tips (I.e suggesting foods that complement each other). His tomato marmalade is something we are adding to every meal possible! He answered questions with style and grace. A kind chef that made the atmosphere warm and friendly. Thank you chef Iain for making this an evening we will be talking about for a long time!

I had the honor to meet and share an evening of laughs, learning, and great food with Chef Iain last Friday night. I enjoy cooking and learning new techniques, so being in the Chef’s own kitchen, watching how he takes the same ingredients I use and turn them into delicious meals, while also being able to get my hands dirty and cook myself, it was the best of both worlds. Chef Iain is welcoming and has a great sense of humor. We were laughing all night between the delicious courses of homemade tapas. My 12-year old daughter and I had a great father-daughter date. Chef Ian was thorough, conscientious, and kind. He expressed awareness of my daughter's sensitivity to spice. I appreciated how he seamlessly tailored his instructions to a beginner level (my daughter), an intermediate level (myself), and an advanced level (the other couple who attended the same class). He taught simple techniques like how to slice an onion, peel garlic, and grate a zucchini, and more advanced tips like the chemistry of dough and the use of an egg as a binder. We really enjoyed our time, and we hope to do something like this again!
