Enjoy an authentic German brunch, as it is served in Munich during Oktoberfest!
Come and enjoy an authentic German Oktoberfest brunch with us! My grandma's recipes beat any of the other Bay Area imitations out there.
This is a long brunch, so make sure you have a decent appetite when you arrive, because there will be (as it is tradition) more than enough food. I look forward to hosting you and sharing some of my traditions in this fun Sunday event with you!
And feel free to book with as many friends as you like. Hope to see you there!

Chef Dave was an executive chef at Marriot for many years and clearly knows how to cook. He is kind and patient and the class is well organized with neat workstations for each student and overhead mirrors to more easily follow the demonstrations. Twelve years ago Chef Dave won an award for his ‘Strawberry Taco’ and it is well deserved. This simple dessert is simply delicious, light and sweet with the fresh taste of cinnamon and fresh strawberry. Yum. Chef Dave’s wife works in the office and his daughter acts as his assistant “We just said Dad if you love to teach, just do it” she tells me sweetly.

Chef Douglas is awesome! Our event featured a variety of tapas dishes and two signature paellas (one veggie and one with meat). All of the food was amazing. Chef Douglas has a beautiful home and helps get folks engaged in the culinary experience. Highly recommended.

We had Chef Jean Ives come to our home for a private dessert class with a few friends. This was one of the best experiences we have had as a group so far. Looking forward to our next Cozymeal experience :)

This was my third Cozymeal gathering. I had a wonderful time (as usual) and found those that attended to be interesting people (as usual). The food was wonderful and I wish I'd taken a little video of the German egg cracker device to post :).

Best 1st time cozymeal ever!! This was super fun, I'm definitely going back again to try other hosts as well. Arnie makes killer potato salad, both sauces for the currywurst were amazing. Wish I could've stayed for the vanilla ice cream, but I had to run early. I think the best part of the experience besides just food was the conversations and the people I met, wined, dined and shared a connection with at the table :)

Had such an enjoyable experience cooking, learning, sipping and eating with the chefs and 5 other 'students'. We started with a light Aperol Spritz cocktail to put us into Italian mode for our Chicken Piccata meal we were to prepare. After making a quick, easy appetizer, we were each assigned a station to make a part of the meal... salad, pasta, veggies, herbs, green beans, chicken prep, reduction sauce and strawberries macerated in wine for dessert. Our meal came together, the trick being having all the hot foods ready at the same time. Everything got to the table fresh and delicious. So fun to meet new people while sharing a challenge and learning helpful techniques to use in the kitchen.

We have had several wonderful opportunities to experience Chef Asami’s culinary expertise, including two Local Kitchen dinners, which we experienced with friends: one in February of 2016, and the second in September of 2016. At each dinner, we were offered a varied 7 course meal, each course which provided delectable creations from Chef Asami’s repertoire, each with a Japanese touch, both visually and flavor. His home-grown greens were fresh and flavorful, while the hybrid aged grass fed painted hills New York Cut steak was to die for – the right combination of crisp exterior with tender, juice inside. Each meal ended with a selection of amazing deserts, served with Shinya’s specialty vintage café. I’m looking forward to our next Local Kitchen experience.

I have had the privilege of eating Skye's plant based meals for a few years now. They are quite delicious and very healthy. I am always impressed with what she prepares. The Indian dish with jackfruit is one of my favorites. In addition the ocean view at her retreat home is so spectacular. It's quite the Million dollar view.

Chef Neil, who recently moved to Portland from the East Coast, has ample experience working in restaurants but recently decided to devote his career to teaching and becoming a personal chef. His Korean roots inspired this class with some of the flavors brought from overseas; classic Korean dishes with a personal twist that Chef Neil brings to the table are spicy, crunchy, flavorful and so fun to make! Learn about the ingredients, and how to blend them into an international adventure you can later share with your friends and family.

A five star product and service in any way you want to think about it! Think the best chocolate treat ever! There are thousands of fancy chocolates out there with all kinds of claims about being the best. This is the best. Created by a caring chef who has a real concern for getting the product just like she had as a child; but better. You can't eat love, you say; I think you can. It's called brigaderios made by Tinyb!!
