Wine Tasting - French vs. California Wines

Reenact the famous and world-changing 1976 event dueling California and French wines.

Join Sommelier Ferdinando for a lively, fun wine tasting experience reenacting the 1976 “Judgment of Paris,” an event which pinned the best wines from France against the best wines from California in a blind tasting. This time you will be the judge! All participants will be blind tasting two wines made from the same grape, in the same style, side by side. Sommelier Ferdinando will show you the similarities and differences of the wines from France and from California as you learn all about winemaking in the two regions.

Sommelier Ferdinando is a Court of Master Sommelier Certified Sommelier from Italy. He was nominated as the Best Wine Director by Wine Enthusiast and has worked in the culinary industry for more than 10 years hosting wine pairings, tasting classes, and private events for big-name clients, as well as small groups.
