WHAT YOU’LL DO

This on-site culinary challenge turns your crew into charcuterie chefs vying for Best in Board.
Chef Juan leads your group in an in-office team building experience where the most creative charcuterie takes top prize. Get them in on the friendly competition as they prepare snack boards with visual flair and flavor beyond compare.

The event begins with the basics in combining meats, cheeses and other elements for amazing charcuterie collections. Learn knife techniques for turning simple slices of meat into stunning roses and discover ideal wine pairings for your selections. Then, the challenge is on as breakout teams work to prepare their beautiful charcuterie boards.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Your Menu

All necessary utensils will be provided by the chef. The venue is required to have access to sinks nearby, tables set-up to prep and garbage containers. Chefs are able to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes in advance.
Charcuterie Board Basics and Demonstration
Chef demonstrates how to create a visually appealing charcuterie board and how to choose meats, cheeses, condiments, accompaniments, textures and more
How to Make Cured Meat Roses
Chef demonstrates how to make salami and prosciutto roses for a stunning presentation
Charcuterie Board and Wine Pairing 101
Guests may provide their own wine
Chef demonstrates what wines to pair with which meats and cheeses
Demonstrating Knife Cuts for Cheeses
With chef demonstrates how to cut various soft and hard cheeses and different presentation options
Team Charcuterie Challenge
Ingredient options include brie, gouda, Manchego, blue cheese, prosciutto, salami, fruit, vegetables, pickles, nuts, olives, jams, mustards, bread, crackers, dips and seasonal items
Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated if noted prior to the event. Please mention this in the message field when you submit your booking request as adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.

Our cooking class was great! Chef Juan was engaging and helped to make our evening really fun while we learned to prepare really unique hors doeuvres. Everything tasted great, too. I would recommend Chef Juan highly, but I wouldn't recommend Cozymeal. They were a hassle, changed what they said was available, and wouldn't honor the original pricing. I'll book through another outfit next time.
