Witness the culmination of a season-long culinary competition as the finalist chefs clash one final time to determine who takes home the grand prize. This is the fast-paced, live-stage finale of a three-round showdown – appetizer, main and dessert – with everything on the line.

As a guest, you'll taste three appetizers, three entrées and three desserts from the finalist chefs as they battle it out on stage. An expert panel scores each dish on taste, creativity and execution, while around 50 guest voters select a separate People's Choice winner. Each competing chef is partnered with a local charity, and the charity paired with the winning chef takes home the funds raised across all rounds – making this a finale with genuine heart. Went to Taco Tuesday Culinary event put on by a professional chef in a brand new commercial kitchen. Food was amazing. Really got some great hands on experience, Great tips on knife skills as well as properly preparing veggies. Very insightful. Left with full confidence that I can prepare a perfect taco Tuesday or any day! They provided menus with full recipes. Space was well laid out for everyone to have plenty of room to prep. We’ll definitely be checking out future culinary events to continue to hone skills.

I chose the class because Chef Chris had a five star rating. He was not the chef. I felt that the venue was overcrowded. The room may just have been too small for what they attempted to do. The chef “Caesar” had previously prepared the crème brûlée and demonstrated how to burn the sugar with a torch. It could have possibly been for safety reasons since he was dealing with a flammable device in a room full of people. Most of the hands-on learning was chopping herbs, boiling pasta, grating cheese, and putting salt and pepper on the meat. Many of the people there had taken classes before which gave it a club. Several couples had brought their own wine and were willing to share with others. It was more of a social event than a cooking class in my opinion since the shift did 50% of the work. In case it was enjoyable, but it was not structured enough to be considered a true cooking class.. Afterwards, dinner was served in another room and we got to sit down together as if we were in a restaurant. This was enjoyable as other local cooking classes I have been to in Florida didn’t provide you with the ability to sit down and eat at a table. I would definitely go to another class, but would only hope that it wasn’t so crowded. Now I know what to expect.
