This meal, which highlights the beauty of vegetables harvested at peak ripeness, begins with eggplant caponata with perfectly toasted bread crumbs, and cauliflower soup with goat cheese and a drizzle of spicy chili oil. Roasted mushroom risotto steals the show, accentuated with salty Parmesan and thyme. Finally, polenta upside down cake with juicy blueberries.
