Private Chef - Chef's Surprise Mediterranean Feast

We had a great time celebrating my husband's birthday with Chef Matt. He was energetic, informative and cooked a fantastic meal for us. Highly recommend as it was a night to remember.

Chef Matt was wonderful and so knowledgable. The food turned out amazing and he was so easy to talk with. I would recommend this to anyone and we felt very safe since he was wearing his mask. I would do it again! Summer

Our cozymeal experience was beyond great. We had a blast learning and exploring all the fun Gnocchi techniques with Chef Matt. I hope to see him again sometime!

It was an absolute pleasure to have Chef Matt in our house! He is very knowledgeable, kind, has. A great sense of humor, and is a great teacher. He really cared about us and made sure we felt included and confident. He taught us and walked us through how to make three different kinds of gnocchi. They were DELICIOUS! He showed us how to do all of the steps and then let us jump in and join. He had great stories about his life and was very personable. We made two savory gnocchi dishes and one sweet. All three were mouthwatering!! Our cooking went a little long but Chef Matt kept with the schedule and made sure we got to experience everything. He stayed a little late to serve our dinner and was happy and joyful the whole time. It was fun to see the final product that we made together. We would love to have Chef Matt back in our home again!

Matt is an amazing chef and displayed remarkable knowledge and memorable techniques, along with interesting basics about cooking that really resonated. Not to mention the food was mouth-watering!

Our chef cancelled at the last minute and has offered no support in helping us obtain our refund. Weeks of careful planning with another couple, including expensive childcare, was wasted. We will not be using Cozymeal again and we will be warning our friends away from this organization.

I honestly hate doing this, but I have to give a very negative review here. This class was initially scheduled as an anniversary present to my wife. We had a very difficult time finding childcare for our four children, but we managed to make that happen. Matt asked us to reschedule that initial date due to a conflict of his own. We understand that things happen, and as difficult as it was to adjust our schedules and find new childcare, we managed to make to make the new date work. On the day of our class, Matt emailed me approximately 45 minutes before our class and said that he was coming back from a football game, his car broke down, and he had to cancel. He did not offer to reschedule and simply said he'd make sure we were refunded. My wife and I were beyond dissapointed. I guess life happens. I am not a fan of leaving these types of reviews, but I also saw that this isn't the only one of this nature on Cozymeal for Matt. I do wish him the best of luck, but there is no chance I would ever attemp to use him or Cozymeal again. This is just my experience. Hopefully others have had better luck.
