During this live, virtual cooking class with Chef Angela-Michelle, you will learn how to prepare fried chicken and waffles using fresh, high-quality ingredients and easy-to-master cooking techniques. Chef Angela-Michelle will show you how to make crispy and juicy buttermilk fried chicken wings, fluffy and flavor-packed sweet potato waffles, and to top it all off, Chef Angela-Michelle's signature Sriracha hot honey-maple syrup.

Prep Work Details

Before we embark on some culinary fun, we must first properly prepare to ensure a seamless and timely event. The items listed below must be completed PRIOR TO the class start time: 1. Have the necessary ingredients chopped, diced, sliced, minced, etc. 2. Have all of the ingredients measured (according to the recipe) and ready to use. 3. Have all cooking tools and equipment out on your countertop or cooktop, including a waffle iron. 4. Have the sweet potato cubed, cooked and cooled and placed in a blender or food processor. 5. Have the chicken soaking in buttermilk (milk and lemon juice). 6. Have all the dry ingredients for the waffles in a large mixing bowl. 7. Have all of the wet ingredients for the waffles in a medium mixing bowl. 8. Have the chicken seasoning made and set aside. 9. Have the dry ingredients for the chicken in a large mixing bowl. Also note, the measurements listed on the recipes are specific to the time frame allotted for the event. Therefore, anyone attempting to double or triple the recipe won't be able to keep up with the flow of the cooking class.

Greatest rendition of a chicken and waffle dish I have tasted this far, the taste was so amazing , the different flavors of the sweet potato waffle and the sriracha syrup. My family absolutely loved the meal, will definitely be making again.
