In this hands-on class, Chef Maggie take the intimidation out of fine French cooking as she guides you through step-by-step instruction with expert knowledge in an atmosphere that exalts good fun and good food. In this class, you will learn to create and master the art of the five mother sauces essential to assembling an outstanding French meal.
Your experience begins by learning to whisk together a creamy béchamel. Continue by crafting a light, yet hearty velouté, a luscious espagnole, a classic tomato sauce, and a silky hollandaise.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
