Chef Sydney hosts a hands-on class perfect for anyone wanting to learn baking basics.
As a pastry chef often found fashioning confections that look almost too good to eat, Chef Sydney will teach you the basics of baking delicious cookies and techniques on beautifully presenting them.
You will start with a spin on the ultimate classic: the chocolate chip cookie. Then, you will learn the correct way to chill, roll, cut, and bake sugar cookie dough. Chef Sydney will go over some decorating techniques so you can get to work decorating your creations with homemade frosting. End by making mounds of coconut macaroons dipped in velvety chocolate.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Syd was awesome. Beyond accommodating (happily waited as some guests arrived late), and put up with our wine-filled lively crew with tons of patience and silliness. Food was yummy. Totally recommend!

Had a blast with Sydney for our Valentin'e Day dinner! She did a great job explaining and teaching some of the cooking methods while giving us enough leeway to leisurely enjoy the process. I was nervous about having someone in my home and the potential for it to feel awkward but Sydney was an absolute pleasure and I can't wait to try another meal soon!
