Cooking Class - The Art of Making Pizza

Chef Sara proves you don't need a fancy pizza oven to make delicious artisan pizzas!

Artisan pizza must stand on a solid foundation. Chef Sara begins class with the basics of making a crust that’s substantial, yet far from bready, and cultivates an airy crust that’s equally crispy and chewy.

Start simple and finish gourmet all while entertaining more than just your taste buds. Build a white pizza with an olive oil base, garlic, and a three-cheese blend, then move onto the classic Margherita pizza with fresh basil, mozzarella and seasoned crushed tomatoes. End on a high note with a melt-in-your-mouth croque-monsieur pizza.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Sara was wonderful!!!! Highly recommend any cooking class with her. So informative. Simple yet delicious recipes. We cook a lot and her tips and comments were so helpful. Sara is a wealth of knowledge and her love of teaching and food really shine through!

Sara was great. Very knowledgeable about cooking, ingredients and skills. She gave us great tips Pizza turned out great and we enjoy our Saturday evening. One tip I do have to look at ways of reducing the usage of plastic. In today's world it is important to pay attention to pollution due to single-use plastic. May be the containers can be metal that can be cleaned and re-used.
