A cooking class was on my bucket list, and Cozymel was like a gift from heaven ! The location was great since it was a penthouse at a residential building in North Miami. Immediately, this takes the pressure out of the word "class" as it makes the experience very intimate and enjoyable. Even if you are Sharing the experience with people you never meet before, it becomes a friends gathering very quickly! A large farm like table is set up in the middle of the venue right on front an open kitchen, which makes the transition and movement from the kitchen to dinner very organic and fun. Chef Nunzio; that Italian dude rocks ! He has a great personality and would answer all our questions not only about technique but also history. Not only is he Italian, ( you know, where pasta is from), but he also trained for many years to become a pasta chef. We started the class by making a garden salad and we learned a few secrets to keep the greens crunchy and cut the veggies in the most perfect way with minimum effort (sorry guys, Can't share! You'll have to experience it yourself ). Then, Chef Nunzio shared his recipe for a home made citrus vinaigrette. We haven't even got to the pasta and we were winning already! Now, be prepared to get your hand dirty ! Remember that long table we talk about earlier? Well, there is a spot for you with all the ingredients and utensils you need to make your own past from scratch. Yep, you get your own 0-0 flower, mix that with eggs, semolina flower and then, give a firm massage to that dough. After Cher Nunzio has verified your work holds to real Italian standards, you will make it very flat using a pasta machine before it gets to be pan. Honestly, I learned a lot of things about the process of and the know how. It makes me respect and appreciate all the chefs and restaurants that take the time to make pasta in house just to keep the tradition and integrity of the flavor. Next thing you know, il cibo è pronto! (Food is ready). We sat, we laugh, had some wine and enjoyed the most wonderful pasta made by all of us. A group of strangers cook and dine together and shared their love for food while learning about its tradition and origin. What a great experience Cozymeal! Can't wait to be back.

It was definitely a surreal experience. From the moment we walked into the door until we parted our ways. Chef Nunzio and his assistant were truly exceptional. Once you step into this out of this world apartment you know this is going to be a great night. While we were waiting for the other participants to arrive we were able to get a glimpse of how amazing this PH is. From the location to the view, how the floor plan is well designed and all the details well thought from corner to corner. Chef Nunzio was amazing at explaining the whole process of Pasta making, not from just boiling it and obviously eating it, but how and why each step has to be made. The Pasta came out really and we were able to bring some home so we could make our special sauce for it. I will definitely recommend Cozymeal and Chef Nunzio to anyone wanting to have a special night. Thank you Cozymeal and Chef Nunzio.

Cozymeal along with the wonderful Chef Nunzio gave us a wonderful night were we learned how to cook pasta from scratch and I loved it because I have never done so. It was so nice to enter to the penthouse they rented for this event in Biscayne Boulevard here in Miami. The setting was simply PERFECT on a wooden table the plates, glasses and our aprons ready to eat and cook. Chef Nunzio besides been a spectacular host, he's an amazing teacher. He took his time to explain us step by step how to do the pasta. We also learned from him, the origins, the customs, the new and old ways how they really do it in Italy. While the pasta we each did had to rest for some minutes, we all enjoyed a fresh salad made with different ingredients like cucumber, arugula and my favorite: fennel. Chef and his assistant Luis served our food in the other side of our table and pour the wine for their guests since this is a BYOB kind of experience. Then we went back to cook and it was time to mold and create the pasta. He did all kinds from raviolis to angel hair as you can see in my pictures. The best part was the ricotta and four other cheese including pecorino that he added to the ravioli's filling. Fresh, smooth and scrumptiously delicious !!!! After, we moved to the counter and we were amazed by how Chef did the finishing touches of the pasta with the wild mushrooms, lots of butter, olive oil and wine. The smell was to die for but nothing compared with the taste. We went back to eat this wonderful pasta served by them and ten minutes later when we thought we were done they brought us what for me was The Best: the ricotta filled raviolis, a must try for sure!! Desert was a chocolate mouse with strawberries and whipped cream. Cozymeal experience was beyond I could have ever imagine. Thank you so much, I really appreciate your professionalism, dedication and I'm looking forward to my next one.

Cozymeal was brought up to me a month or so ago, and to be honest i should have read the details more carefully because the words that registered in my head were "chef.... tasting....italian...food" 30 minutes before the event took place, i read the full message and realized this was a dining+cooking class experience. Pasta making more specifically. why does that matter? probably because i was wearing all black and going to a music festival later and was looking forward to explaining to a group of club bouncers why i'm covered in copious amount of white powder residue and sweating..... I was told it was BYOB, so knowing that wine is the typical thing to bring, i got a 12 pack of corona and headed up to the penthouse. good f---ing god.... this space is amazing. high rise, floor to ceiling windows, no buildings obstructing the sunset view, exposed brick, open lay out, and an unbelievable kitchen and dining area. seriously i had to stop fangirling over my dream apt and focus on the task at hand... eating. the class was set along this beautiful long repurposed wood table, with plants/vines draped over from the ceiling. one side was set for dinner, the other side was set up with 6 pasta stations on 1 side, and Chef Nunzio's station facing us. oh shit, this is kinda ling already and ive said nothing of the class, so here's a paragraph on each of the 3 parts that made the night. 1. Chef Nunzio is pretty dope. He's been in the US for a few years, comes from Italy, and spending any adequate amount of time with him you quickly realize his essence is food it self. He bleeds homemade sauce, sweats the pursest truffle oil, and breathes the purest passion that can be when it comes to the kitchen. Just a heads up- after 4 coronas his accent is tough to understand. BTW, i meant after i had 4 coronas, not him. 2. The class- it was great, not too long, not short, informative, easy to work through, and fun. we made a homemade dough, cut it into parpadelle (neither me or spellcheck know how to spell that right now), and then had a presentation on making ravioli, and a few others. I've been in love with food since i was a fat 3rd grader, and equally as much with being in the kitchen since i completed my application to FCI in NYC. i've read textbooks, watched youtube videos, etc to learn more and add to my skill set. But Chef Nunzio and this class taught me in one night what i have managed to miss most of life- take your time, have patience, and get it done correctly 3. Food..... i mean its fucking pasta. he's from italy. you obviously know it was amazing. they served us 2 dishes, one with the pasta we made, and one with the ravioli. the the first was with a mushroom reduction sauce. unbelievably simple and balanced. then he served us with the ravioli. TBH it came out and it could easily be mistaken for the kds menu option of cheese ravioli with butter sauce. ummmmm.... not the fucking case here. the "cheese" mike tysoned my mouth, and then the "butter" rope-a-doped my nose.... because it was truffle oil, not butter. alright, you got this far, i'm gonna end it abruptly. if you want to do a class like this or the opportunity arises, do it. or be proactive and book cozymeals. PS- if you're single this needs to be in your repertoire for dating. fun date idea, but take the class for yourself. can you imagine the face of your date if they walk in to see you serving homemade pasta?????? think about it.

Phenomenal way to meet new people! This experience deserves every star. We arrived wondering how this class would be and even how the food would taste if we made it haha but i must say that making the pasta from scratch with an expert chef explaining in detail the whys and hows of pasta making was spectacular! Chef Nunzio from two chefs are better than one, was magnificent and the class was organized with recipes, portions, utensils, and dinner reservations! Our menu: FRESH PASTA!!! We had truffle ricotta ravioli that were just exquisite. The filling was rich and had the perfect flavor. This is certainly a great idea for outings, corporate events, romantic dates and better yet, a great way to meet new people who enjoy food snd share a passion for local delicacies and small business. The service was superb and the attention to detail was also wonderful. Would definitely recommend this !!

We hired Two Chefs Are Better Than One for a last minute, outdoor dinner party! Chef Nunzio came prepared and on time... as soon as the guests arrived, he was ready with the appetizers. The food was spectacular and the presentation was very professional. He even accommodated smaller portions of the food for a kids/teens table. It was like having a fancy restaurant at our house! Some of the most popular dishes were the risotto, the red wine braised short ribs w/ creamy polenta, and the ricotta parfait, but don't get me wrong, all of the dishes were amazing! Overall, the service was amazing and Chef Nunzio was very nice. Definitely considering this again for my next event. Thank you Two Chefs Are Better Than One!
