If you're an heirloom gardener or someone who's passionate about the beautiful colors and flavors of heirloom produce, this is the class for you! Let Chef Kisha show you some of her favorite kitchen techniques for showing off the unique beauty of heirloom fruits and vegetables.
First, Chef Kisha will showcase how to make a tomato salad that shows off the lacy texture and deep colors of these unusual varietals. Next, learn how to roast a chicken with heirloom potatoes and carrots. For dessert, you'll learn how to prepare sweet baked peaches, topped with locally made ice cream. This cooking class will give you to the building blocks for great summer cooking.
