What You’ll Do

Encourage your kid to discover new foods through world cooking in this cooking series.

Inspire curiosity and confidence in this fun cooking series in Kirkland (Seattle) for young chefs. Over five days, kids will cook their way around the world, making dishes like elote dip, soba noodles with dipping sauce, baked potato tots, chicken meatballs, chocolate budino and chocolate crêpes. Guided by Chef Peter or a chef instructor, each session combines hands-on cooking with age-appropriate instruction. This cooking series in Kirkland (Seattle) is a great way for kids to expand their palate, learn new techniques and feel proud of what they create.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

Meet your chef


Chef Peter's culinary journey may have begun in Northern California, but it's taken him around the U.S., with stops in D.C. and Nantucket. He honed his talent in well-regarded eateries, eventually rising to the level of executive chef. His restaurant experience includes a stint at the Watergate Hotel. Now happily settled in Seattle, Chef Peter is often found sharing his skills in cooking classes and with local and national nonprofits.

Had a lovely time getting hands on with making pizzas! Appreciate the guidance and tips and tricks to bring that high quality pizza home. Chef Peter did a great job balancing kitchen protocols and 2 hour pretend chefs.
