What You’ll Do

Enjoy a French-inspired night out in this hands-on cooking class.

Enjoy a romantic evening of French cooking in this interactive cooking class in Darien. With guidance from Chef Royale or a resident chef, you and your partner will make salmon en papillote, perfectly roasted herb potatoes and crêpes Suzette. You’ll practice timing, temperature control and dessert flambé techniques in a relaxed setting. This cooking class in Darien offers a hands-on date night experience centered on classic Parisian flavors.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 18+.

We had so much fun with Chef Royale! Dim sum date night was a gift for my partner who loves Asian cuisine but we’re sometimes a little intimidated by the technique. Chef made it extremely easy and approachable. We are very excited to make dim sum at home! Highly recommend this class!

Really fun and busy class making pad Thai, deep fried lemongrass corn fritters, shrimp curry, and enjoying coconut rice afterwards, in a group of 12. It was nice to review knife skills as well. Great date or special occasion activity

Our family of 3 (including a teen son) really enjoyed this class. The recipes were easy to figure out and make, and it's nice to have the book to refer to the 3 things we made, as well as all of the other content. Chef Kelley was very helpful, friendly, and encouraging with our son!

What a great class. From the beginning with regard to explaining the different variations that we were going to make. Guiding us in the preparing of the ingredients and working with us in the cooking of the ingredients and how it all comes together . The end result the best getting to eat what we made. Delicious. Ready to register for my next class. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

This was a fun and wonderful class. The recipes were delicious . Chef Chris was a true professional chef. She gave little inside tips, was very good at explaining the recipes. I would take another class with Chef Chris!
