What You’ll Do

Learn to make beautiful holiday sweets in this hands-on class.

Get into the holiday spirit with this festive baking class in Murray (Salt Lake City). Under the guidance of Chef Joseph or one of the talented resident chefs, you’ll make a variety of seasonal sweets including homemade marshmallows, white chocolate bark with cranberries and pistachios, peppermint crunch fudge and chocolate caramel turtles. This hands-on holiday cooking class in Murray (Salt Lake City) is perfect for families, friends or anyone who loves to bake and share treats during Christmas. Take home skills and recipes that make for delicious holiday traditions.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Fantastic and fun class! My only issue was that we got split into teams of 3. My husband and I were looking forward to having this be our own thing (team) as we were on a date.

We had a nice evening. Things were not organized and our class ended at 10:20 instead of 9:00. I was expecting more instruction on things.

The food was terrific but the class was not very interactive. We stood around watching the chef cut and mix ingredients. Definitely wanted a more hands on experience. Additionally, the chef said he would email the recipes and we have yet to receive them 4 days later.

We did not have chef Zach but the chef we had was excellent. Instructions clear and visuals were good. She explained why things happen and gave us hints on how to be better bakers. Her assistant was also excellent. She was patient and helpful.

Candy was so knowledgeable and helpful during the class! Her instructions were clear and she was able to explain the science behind macarons and meringue which helped me tremendously! I’ve never enjoyed the taste of macarons until I did this class, which made me realize macarons are delicious!

For $99 per person, we got pretty awful cuts of beef, didn’t really learn anything, and just kind of threw a whole bunch of ingredients together while the instructor practically made everything. It was kind of like a labor intensive dinner where you had to stand at a very low table to eat a meal in 20 minutes. Seems like a fun date night, and it was A fine experience overall, but skip this and spend $99 on An amazing steak dinner . A haphazard lesson about chopping herbs is not worth the money.

This was our first class-Pasta.making. We really enjoyed it. Chef Ellie was really great very informative, just a great instructor. We will be back for sure

I loved everything about this class!!! Chef Ellie was a phenomenal teacher and taught us lots of neat tricks for cooking. The food was SO good! I highly recommend taking one of these classes. I took the Gourmet New Year’s Eve class.

Really fun and busy class making pad Thai, deep fried lemongrass corn fritters, shrimp curry, and enjoying coconut rice afterwards, in a group of 12. It was nice to review knife skills as well. Great date or special occasion activity
