What You’ll Do

Turn up the heat with a vibrant Korean BBQ feast.

Join Chef Royale or one of the talented resident chefs in Darien for a Korean BBQ cooking class full of flavors and hands-on fun. You’ll craft a vibrant menu featuring grilled bulgogi beef lettuce wraps, savory cast iron scallion pancakes and stir-fried glass noodles with seasonal vegetables. Add a crisp marinated cucumber salad with scallions and sesame for balance. This cooking class in Darien makes exploring Korean cuisine easy, fun and beginner-friendly.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Chef Royale is an excellent chef!! His professionalism and kindness was well received. His knowledge of food and cooking was outstanding. He was born to do what he does. Really fun and busy class making pad Thai, deep fried lemongrass corn fritters, shrimp curry, and enjoying coconut rice afterwards, in a group of 12. It was nice to review knife skills as well. Great date or special occasion activity

It was so much fun! Learned several techniques from Chef Miguel and the food was amazing. I believe the small class size helped. I would recommend this class.

Our family of 3 (including a teen son) really enjoyed this class. The recipes were easy to figure out and make, and it's nice to have the book to refer to the 3 things we made, as well as all of the other content. Chef Kelley was very helpful, friendly, and encouraging with our son!

What a great class. From the beginning with regard to explaining the different variations that we were going to make. Guiding us in the preparing of the ingredients and working with us in the cooking of the ingredients and how it all comes together . The end result the best getting to eat what we made. Delicious. Ready to register for my next class. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
