What You’ll Do

Create delicious memories with Tuscan cuisine at date night.

Experience date night Tuscan-style in this hands-on cooking class in Murray (Salt Lake City). Learn to pan-roast steak and top it with capers, arugula and Parmesan, then create wide ribbons of pappardelle coated in a vibrant kale and walnut pesto. Chef Joseph or one of the talented resident chefs will also teach you the art of homemade pasta dough. For dessert, you’ll prepare a creamy tiramisu gelato affogato that’s as romantic as it is delicious. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply craving Italian cuisine, this cooking class in Murray (Salt Lake City) makes for the perfect evening out with your partner.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

We had a nice evening. Things were not organized and our class ended at 10:20 instead of 9:00. I was expecting more instruction on things.

The food was terrific but the class was not very interactive. We stood around watching the chef cut and mix ingredients. Definitely wanted a more hands on experience. Additionally, the chef said he would email the recipes and we have yet to receive them 4 days later.

We did not have chef Zach but the chef we had was excellent. Instructions clear and visuals were good. She explained why things happen and gave us hints on how to be better bakers. Her assistant was also excellent. She was patient and helpful.

Candy was so knowledgeable and helpful during the class! Her instructions were clear and she was able to explain the science behind macarons and meringue which helped me tremendously! I’ve never enjoyed the taste of macarons until I did this class, which made me realize macarons are delicious!

For $99 per person, we got pretty awful cuts of beef, didn’t really learn anything, and just kind of threw a whole bunch of ingredients together while the instructor practically made everything. It was kind of like a labor intensive dinner where you had to stand at a very low table to eat a meal in 20 minutes. Seems like a fun date night, and it was A fine experience overall, but skip this and spend $99 on An amazing steak dinner . A haphazard lesson about chopping herbs is not worth the money.

This was our first class-Pasta.making. We really enjoyed it. Chef Ellie was really great very informative, just a great instructor. We will be back for sure

I loved everything about this class!!! Chef Ellie was a phenomenal teacher and taught us lots of neat tricks for cooking. The food was SO good! I highly recommend taking one of these classes. I took the Gourmet New Year’s Eve class.

Really fun and busy class making pad Thai, deep fried lemongrass corn fritters, shrimp curry, and enjoying coconut rice afterwards, in a group of 12. It was nice to review knife skills as well. Great date or special occasion activity
