Cooking Class - Dive Into Classic Pub Fare

What You’ll Do

Discover techniques for authentic pub dishes including beer cheese pretzels and tangy buttermilk coleslaw.

This cooking class takes a tasty plunge into classic pub food based on classic recipes. Guests will learn basic techniques for making soft pretzels from scratch with creamy beer cheese, as well as crispy Buffalo cauli­flower with ranch dip from a 5-star chef. On top of that, guests will learn how to make slow-cooked pulled pork barbeque style sandwiches (Carolina-style), made with homemade fresh buttermilk coleslaw with lemon and herbs. Students will leave the experience with skills in dough-making and roasting, assembling traditional pub food that is bursting with authentic flavors.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

We cooked some lobster ravioli and prepared a salad and some crostini to go along with it. Chef Scott was a lot of fun and his instructions were great. He'd check in on each table and give a helping hand as well. It was my first time making pasta from scratch so it was a fun experience! Would highly recommend!

Chef Scott and his team at Sur la Table exceeded all expectations. The instruction was impeccable and the food, DELICIOUS! It was a wonderful team building experience that we plan to do again!
