Prepare for a date night like none other as you navigate an array of delicious French recipes adapted by the late Julia Child in her book Mastering the Art of French Cooking, Vol. 1. Chef Eric shares his passion for cuisine in an immersive class atmosphere that will have you and your significant other creating exquisite French dishes and then indulging in each delightful morsel. Learn each step of the preparation process in a relaxed and fun environment that encourages creativity and is without intimidation.

Chef Eric begins the class with a succulent beef bourguignon with sautéed mushrooms that will awaken your tastebuds. Continue with a savory baked fish soufflé with luscious mousseline sauce, followed by mouthwatering chicken breast with paprika, onions, and cream sauce. For your third course, create a healthy green beans provencal and nutritious braised celery root with bacon. The class concludes with preparing fresh apples in a decadent orange sauce.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

A native of Los Angeles, Chef Eric graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. He has staged with Chef José Munisa at Via Veneto, Barcelona’s longest-running 5-star restaurant and Chef Joseph Russwürm at Munich’s Hotel Kempinski. While trained in the culinary classics, Chef Eric enjoys teaching a broad range of cuisines in his classes while integrating the importance of technique with his students.
