Cooking Class - Sweet and Savory: Kids’ Baking Basics

Give curious culinary kids the gift of experience this summer with this five-day baking series.

Little ones who like to bake are sure to absolutely love this five-day summer cooking class series. Guided by an esteemed chef, they’ll learn the basics of baking, ingredient preparation and kitchen safety, before whipping up muffins, kneading focaccia pizza and baking show-stopping cakes. At the end of the week, they’ll leave with a certificate of their achievements and a printed menu. More than that, they’ll arrive home with the confidence they need to embark on a lifetime of culinary adventures.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef


Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.
