Learn to prepare a delightful assortment of desserts that are suitable for a variety of occasions. Chef Kim has honed her skills as a pastry chef for nearly 20 years and looks forward to sharing her gourmet insights and providing you with a memorable experience. As you go through the course, you will unlock your creativity and inspire your inner pastry chef. Even after the class has drawn to a close, you will be able to use your new knowledge to prepare these treats in your own kitchen.
Chef Kim will begin the class with luscious cream puffs followed by profiteroles, a mouthwatering pastry ball. The next course consists of chocolate eclairs that are positively sinful! The pièce de résistance comes in the form of classic herb and cheese gougères.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

It was so fun learning to make cream puffs and eclairs with Kim! She was really happy to give us lessons on piping technique and taught us about different meringues and pastry creams. So great to be able to pick her pastry chef brain for a few hours!

My husband, my 11 year old daughter and I all had such a fun time! Chef Kim is so knowledgeable and experienced. The pasteries tasted great and we learned so much. We now have recipes we will be sure to use next time we have friends over. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone wanting to learn the fundamentals of French and other European pastries. Chef Travels to You
Chef Kim is a classically trained pastry chef and enthusiastic about teaching and entertaining children interested in spending time in the kitchen. She currently teaches pastry fundamentals and advanced pastry education courses in San Diego, and loves passing her passion for pastry onto the next generation.
