Explore classic French dishes and techniques in a hands-on Bastille Day kitchen experience.

If you're looking to celebrate Bastille Day in true gastronomic style, this cooking class will arm you with everything you need to do so. In it, you'll learn a host of classic French dishes for your holiday table. Rustle up some bacon, thyme and Gruyère gougères, sear scallops and serve them with capers, lemon and brown butter sauce and toss up an endive and radicchio salad with Champagne vinaigrette and toasted hazelnuts. For dessert, what could be more apt than crème brûlée?

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

We cooked a Parisian salmon dinner with roasted potatoes and Crepe Suzettes. Plus a delicious berry drink.

We made pasta with two sauces and had a great time. My grandson learned how to cut onions, make pasta, mince garlic-all real chef techniques. He was so proud of himself and brought dinner home for his family. Just watching his joy in cooking was the best! I also learned techniques. The chefs were so positive and helpful. It was a great experience for both of us!
