Cooking Class - Classic Braised Chicken and Purple Pizza

Braised chicken is a culinary staple, and with her 30+ years of experience, Chef June knows the secret behind making it perfectly every time. Join her and learn the secrets behind this technique as well as her secret recipe for purple pizza.

The evening will begin with a farm-fresh vegetable crudites paired with a homemade green dipping sauce. For your second course, Chef June will teach you how she makes her version of a New York style pizza with a crust made of Native American purple corn, homemade sauce, and fresh mozzarella cheese. Your entree will be delectable braised chicken thighs paired with tender zucchini julienne and purple artisan rice. For dessert, you’ll enjoy a delicious pudding that is as light as it is decadent.

Chef June has worked for stars from Judith Krantz to Elizabeth Taylor and her stories are nearly as delicious as her food. Inventor of the(delicious) ‘purple pizza’ Chef June quickly and easily puts together healthy dishes that are so tasty and so simple you will want to repeat them over and over at home. Her ‘Green’ dressing is so delicious I could drink it and her tender macaroons melt in your mouth.

I am a private health chef with a focus on purple foods. I was inspired at an early age by Cuisine Minceur - early French Spa cuisine - and have taken it to the highest level by incorporating purple plant foods in addition to other Functional ingredients. I have worked for over 30 years as a private chef to celebrity and corporate clientele. In 2014 I created a purple pizza crust made with Native American purple corn - a New York crust with a boost of added flavor and function!
