Join Chef Theodore as he teaches you the art of roasting a chicken bistro-style
Roasted chicken is a culinary classic, and in this class you will learn tips and tricks to recreating the magic in your own home. Chef Theodore has cooked in professional kitchens across the country and is ready to pass on his trade secrets.
This class will walk you through the process of properly trussing and roasting a chicken so that it is tender and juicy in the middle, with a delectable crisp skin. You will also learn the technique behind creating a “jus”, a sauce made from the chicken’s juices. On the side you will prepare and enjoy pommes anna, a layered potato dish that Julia Child referred to as, “the supreme potato recipe of all time.” Finally, Chef Theodore will walk you through creating a classic preparation of seasonal vegetables, teaching you knife skills and helpful techniques along the way.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Our Cozymeal experience with Chef Theodore was a delight! He made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived until we stepped out the door. He took us through each recipe step by step to ensure we could recreate these delicious dishes in our own kitchen for future guests. It was an experience we would love to try again.

This class is a joy from start to finish. Chef Theodore’s house is gorgeous, he is awesome, his food is mouthwatering and he is a fabulous teacher. Nothing could be better than spending a few hours in his stylish, airy kitchen with a group of friends learning to make delicious food. I can’t recommend this experience highly enough. He make everything simple and fun and has such a sense of style to everything he does. Highly recommended!

It's hard to not enjoy Chef Theodore's presence. Chef Theodore is a very knowledgable chef with extensive culinary and cooking class experience. He is a great teacher, a great chef and very entertaining. His kitchen is one of the nicest kitchens I have been in. I participated in his pasta making class in Los Angeles and really enjoyed it. If you take it, he will also share with you some of the ingredients he has brought with himself from his recent trip to Europe. Great cooking class!
