Inspired by the bounty of the Mediterranean Sea and the Provençal countryside, Chef Shelley chooses Nice as a favorite culinary destination. During the class she will teach you basic knife skills and then show you how to prepare several traditional dishes from the South of France.
In this hands-on, three hour class you will make 'Socca', a light and crispy chickpea pancake served with cheese, olives and cured meats. Next you will create a deconstructed Salade Niçoise and finally you will learn to cook a french classic with a twist - a lemon and lavender infused creme brulée.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
