Kids 5 Day Spring Series Kitchen Confidence

What You’ll Do

Challenge the kids to learn new skills and develop a love of cooking.

This cooking class is designed for ages 7-11 and allows kids to explore their culinary creativity while learning essential skills. Under the guidance of a gourmet chef, kids will practice chopping vegetables, slicing fruit, kneading dough and much more. They'll master food prep skills, menu planning and ingredient sourcing. They'll take home printed menus and a graduation certificate.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

Really fun and busy class making pad Thai, deep fried lemongrass corn fritters, shrimp curry, and enjoying coconut rice afterwards, in a group of 12. It was nice to review knife skills as well. Great date or special occasion activity

It was so much fun! Learned several techniques from Chef Miguel and the food was amazing. I believe the small class size helped. I would recommend this class.

Our family of 3 (including a teen son) really enjoyed this class. The recipes were easy to figure out and make, and it's nice to have the book to refer to the 3 things we made, as well as all of the other content. Chef Kelley was very helpful, friendly, and encouraging with our son!

What a great class. From the beginning with regard to explaining the different variations that we were going to make. Guiding us in the preparing of the ingredients and working with us in the cooking of the ingredients and how it all comes together . The end result the best getting to eat what we made. Delicious. Ready to register for my next class. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
