Cooking Class - Culinary Highlights of Hibachi

What You’ll Do

Light up the dinner table with hibachi favorites.

Learn how to replicate restaurant-worthy recipes and techniques into your home dinner routine with this cooking class. An esteemed chef leads these fun and engaging sessions with advice, tips and tricks. Practice grilling chicken for a classic chicken teriyaki with vegetable-fried rice. Toss garden-fresh ingredients with a ginger-orange dressing for a zesty salad. For dessert, turn on the flambé with a ginger crème brûlée.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef


Chef Michael emigrated to the U.S. from Romania with his family at the age of seven. He followed his family's culinary interests and found joy in the kitchen, with his grandmother and his parents leading the way. After working in various restaurants through high school and beyond, he developed a taste for finer cuisine. His resume grew to include event catering as well as teaching cooking classes, for which Chef Michael holds an abiding passion.

The experience was tremendous. It yielded the exact process I enjoy. Not a this then, that step by step recipe but a discussion with variations explained. Suggestions to make the dishes better or just plain different were explored. These elements made it a wonderful learning experience for me. Thank you.

Chef Michael and his crew had a terrific set up for us for the challenges related to making croissants. We had a lot of fun. We are far more confident trying this at home. Worth the money and time- would repeat or provide as a gift to close friends.
