The chef was truly skilled and the food was fantastic. However, we found the shared cooking pot and station with another couple to be a bit awkward. Rotating through the steps with four people significantly reduced the hands-on learning and made it difficult to fully engage with the instructions. We believe the experience would be greatly enhanced if each couple had their own cooking setup, allowing for a more personal and immersive experience.

My experience was disappointing as a 4th person (a stranger) was added to our party of 3 (myself and the 2 friends I brought with me), without our consent or preference considered. This individual was controlling and criticized everything we did, which ruined the experience for us. She also ate from a spoon and put it back in the potato side dish while preparing it, so we all refused to eat that part of the meal. I probably wouldn’t mind eating after my friends, but a stranger putting a utensil in her mouth, then back in a shared dish (twice!) was completely inappropriate. I kindly asked her not to put her spoon in our food after it had been in her mouth. Her response was “I only did it twice”. I very much regret spending money on this experience as a Christmas gift to my friends.

Chef Daniel was such a fun and engaging chef! We had a great time and learned a lot even in such a short amount of time.
