Cooking Class - Signature French Pastries

Take an in-depth journey into the world of French pastry.

During this three-hour cooking class, you’ll learn how to make a variety of classic French pastries using an essential dough. An expert chef will walk you through the lamination process that will create the flaky layers in your classic desserts. With this buttery base, you’ll prepare apple turnovers, swirled palmier cookies and a patisserie staple, Kouign-Amann.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Chef Dagny and her apprentice worked very well together to explain not only the ingredients but the chemistry of how they worked together and how the heat affects the outcome of the product. And they adjusted well with any kinks that may have come up. Everything was absolutely delicious and informative. Everyone loved the class and Chef's.

This was a class at in Miami. You share a table with another couple and while they do have you wash your hands, they have you combine your food with the other couple. I did not like that. You should have your own cooking station. They also had to many people in our class and we were placed on an outside table that didn't have enough ingredients. It was also very fast paced, and the teachers seemed annoyed when some of the people needed more time or assistance.
