Join Chef Pao for an immersive cooking class where you’ll master the art of making your favorite Asian dishes. Guided by a five-star chef, this hands-on experience is perfect for anyone eager to learn authentic techniques.

You’ll start by crafting crispy spring rolls filled with your choice of shrimp or chicken. Next, prepare mouthwatering egg rolls stuffed with seasoned pork or fresh vegetables, served alongside perfectly steamed sticky rice. To end on a sweet note, you’ll prepare a mochi ice cream dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in 2012, Chef Pao turned his focus to the beautiful and delicious preparation and presentation of sushi. Previously, he worked as a sushi chef at a restaurant in St. Paul where he perfected his sushi-making techniques. Now, Chef Pao runs his own catering business for events and gatherings, and teaches Asian cooking classes with a focus on skill and high-quality ingredients.

My husband and I had a great time making a few different sushi rolls with Chef Pao. I honestly had never tried making sushi before, because I had assumed it was too complicated. Chef Pao made the whole process very approachable, and we were really pleased with the outcomes of our first ever sushi attempts. The whole class was very organized, the kitchen was super clean, and Chef Pao had a calm and encouraging personality that made the experience fun instead of stressful. Highly recommend!

Chef Pao's sushi class was excellent, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn how to make (and then eat!) their own delicious sushi creations. Chef Pao was friendly and welcoming to my family of four, teaching us the right way to make sushi and giving us lots of information and tips. If you are looking for a private, hands-on and fun learning experience, this class has it all!
