In this hands-on cooking class, you'll learn how to handle a knife like a professional chef. Guided by an expert, practice the techniques to slice, dice and julienne various ingredients. Discover which knives to use when working with vegetables, fruits and meats. Plus, learn how to sharpen and take care of this essential kitchen tool.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Meet your chef
Chef Michael emigrated to the U.S. from Romania with his family at the age of seven. He followed his family's culinary interests and found joy in the kitchen, with his grandmother and his parents leading the way. After working in various restaurants through high school and beyond, he developed a taste for finer cuisine. His resume grew to include event catering as well as teaching cooking classes, for which Chef Michael holds an abiding passion.
