Cooking Class - French Pastry Classics

In this hands-on cooking class, you will practice essential methods for creating beautiful patisserie-style treats such as whimsical palmiers and rustic seasonal turnovers. From preparing homemade laminated dough to shaping and filling classic pastries, the foundational skills learned in this class can be applied to an endless array of pastry delights.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Had a great time with the resident chef and other people in the class, was slightly disappointed on what we were actually making. Was expecting to learn how to actually make the pasta dough due to the class pictures and how it was presented and was expecting on making the desert as well (which is mainly why i wanted to take the class) What was also important to note is that the groups worked in teams and not a meal per couple which meant less food for each couple and was less intimate and felt like more of a double date night. Overall the food was great and the class was fun, but a little too overpriced or what’s actually presented.

It was very crammed. My partner and I were on a “team” with another couple and had to share a station. It was not stated that we would not get our own supplies and ingredients. Instead, we had to share the tasks of cooking with two other people meaning we did not get to learn some of the skills being taught. I feel that for about $200 it was not worth it because we did not get to do all of the cooking together. I think it should’ve been mentioned that the other people we were working with would be splitting the tasks. Also, we did not get to make the dessert as it was premade for us. That was not mentioned before hand either.
