Cooking Class - Authentic Spanish Tapas

Discover why these small plates of Spanish tapas have tons of big flavors.

You'll feel transported to Spain in this immersive cooking class. Chef Jay will teach you how to make three Spanish tapas that are the perfect snack or an entertaining treat.

To start, you'll make Spanish canapés using tomatoes, ham, olives and Manchego cheese topped on a crispy crostini. Next, make the decadent patatas bravas by frying potatoes until crispy and topping them with a spicy paprika and vinegar sauce. Finish the class by making huevos a la flamenca, a spicy chorizo dish mixed with potatoes, peas and egg.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Journey Culinary and chef Deborah Dupuis hosted a private cooking class for my family group of 6. They readily helped arrange a menu alternative to meet a dietary restriction for one of our group. Chef Deborah was friendly and informative as we moved through meal preparation. The Italian meal we created was delicious! The space was intimate and we very much enjoyed the activity together as a family. We plan to go back and we recommend Journey Culinary to others.
