Enroll your best kitchen buddy in this baking class for beginner chefs.

This cooking series designed for chefs ages 7-11 is a fun way to teach the basics of baking. Summer cooking classes keep the kids occupied while also teaching valuable kitchen skills, so sign your kids up for this 5-day experience. They'll enjoy hands-on instruction on how to knead dough while also learning about the chemistry behind what makes dough rise, food prep techniques and of course, food safety tips. The grand finale will include an opportunity to bake and decorate a cake, a staple skill for any young chef.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with this cooking class and had so much fun! Would have been better with a little wine or champagne but it was great. We've already made a few of the dishes!!

This was a fun and wonderful class. The recipes were delicious . Chef Chris was a true professional chef. She gave little inside tips, was very good at explaining the recipes. I would take another class with Chef Chris!

Chef Tanya and Jake, the cooking instructors, were terrific! They not only shared valuable tips for cooking but also for prepping and cleaning the station. I was thrilled with the class and can't wait to sign up for another one. If you're interested, book your spot on a Saturday or Sunday.

What a great class. From the beginning with regard to explaining the different variations that we were going to make. Guiding us in the preparing of the ingredients and working with us in the cooking of the ingredients and how it all comes together . The end result the best getting to eat what we made. Delicious. Ready to register for my next class. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Our family of 3 (including a teen son) really enjoyed this class. The recipes were easy to figure out and make, and it's nice to have the book to refer to the 3 things we made, as well as all of the other content. Chef Kelley was very helpful, friendly, and encouraging with our son!

It was so much fun! Learned several techniques from Chef Miguel and the food was amazing. I believe the small class size helped. I would recommend this class.

Really fun and busy class making pad Thai, deep fried lemongrass corn fritters, shrimp curry, and enjoying coconut rice afterwards, in a group of 12. It was nice to review knife skills as well. Great date or special occasion activity
