Cooking Class - 3-Day Foodie Fun Teens: World Bakes

A 3-day journey turning teens into budding bakers with hands-on experiences in the kitchen.

Treat your teen to three exciting days of hands-on kitchen fun in a baking cooking series. Designed for ages 12 and older, these summer cooking classes will help your teen learn creativity and confidence while baking the sweetest treats. Guided by a top chef, they’ll explore challenging menus and global cuisines while mastering baking techniques. After kneading an impressive dough and decorating picture-perfect cakes, they'll leave class with a well-deserved graduation certificate and culinary skills to use for a lifetime.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

I attended this class with my 10 year old stepdaughter. We had a blast! There are times we would have enjoyed doing more, like making the broth or pickled mushrooms, however I understand the time constraints. Chef Michael was very clear and relatable and we would definitely come again!

Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.
