Cooking Class - 3-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Global Inspirations

What You’ll Do

Learn to cook like professional global chefs in this summer series created just for kids.

This five-day cooking series gives young foodies ages 7-11 unique opportunities to explore global cuisine and practice essential culinary techniques with guidance from a professional chef. Throughout three days of summer cooking classes, participants will learn about kitchen safety while using various kitchen tools to steam aromatic pork buns, knead dough for pasta and bread, and bake German schnitzel. Budding chefs will gain confidence, practice team-building and culinary skills and make friends. Each person receives a printed menu with step-by-step instructions and a graduation certificate upon completion.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.
