Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Teens: Baking Masterclass - Carmel

What You’ll Do

Equip your teen with advanced baking skills learned from a professional and hands-on practice.

Treat the emerging chef in your life to a week of immersive skills work with summer cooking classes. This class focuses on advanced baking skills as they prepare notoriously tricky batters and doughs from scratch and delve into the world of dough-proofing for a flawless and airy bake. From laminated doughs to delicate bake structures and activating yeast properly, they will soak up knowledge from a chef instructor as they gain confidence in a whole new set of skills and recipes to recreate.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.
