Create a traditional celebratory meal from Latin America.
Add some Latin flare to your holiday dishes with traditional tamales. Go through the entire process, guided by a chef instructor as you mix your own masa dough and form tamales. Prepare two savory fillings of meat and vegetables with flavorful sauces like mole and pasilla sauce then assemble and steam your holiday tamales.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Chef Michael was great. He was very personable and gave tips and shared his culinary knowledge. it was a fun afternoon. Wish it was for the Fragrant Thai Cuisine class, but learning about gnocchis was good as well.

Meet your chef
Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.
