What You’ll Do

Learn how to make your steakhouse favorite meals with expert techniques.

Learn how to prepare a multiple-course steakhouse menu. You’ll start by making a simple shrimp cocktail. Then, you’ll perfectly sear the steak in a pan, topping it with bourbon shallot butter for a burst of flavor. Serve it with homemade Caesar salad and a loaded baked potato. For dessert, bake a delicious molten chocolate cake.

Tea, coffee and water will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

Chef Michael arrived in the culinary world as an all-around creative looking for his next challenge. His career in environmental and graphic design included work with Toyota and Amazon before his fascination with cuisine led him to Le Cordon Bleu for a blue ribbon program of study. He honed his talents further as assistant pastry chef at Le Marais. Now, Chef Michael applies his creativity to teaching others the art of cuisine.
