Cooking Class - Mastery of Holiday Tamales

What You’ll Do

Gain confidence in the kitchen as you add a new skill: Tamales from scratch.

Take a culinary journey to Latin America for a beginner’s guide to perfect tamales. This celebratory food is a labor of love, resulting in tamales bursting with savory goodness. Mash up your own masa and spread it on corn husks as you simmer two incredible fillings of pulled pork with green mole and poblano peppers in pasilla sauce. Use your hands to form pockets of dough and filling before sealing and steaming your tamales. Enjoy the fruits of your labor along with a cup of champurrado, Mexican hot chocolate.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.
