Gain confidence in the kitchen as you add a new skill: Tamales from scratch.
Take a culinary journey to Latin America for a beginner’s guide to perfect tamales. This celebratory food is a labor of love, resulting in tamales bursting with savory goodness. Mash up your own masa and spread it on corn husks as you simmer two incredible fillings of pulled pork with green mole and poblano peppers in pasilla sauce. Use your hands to form pockets of dough and filling before sealing and steaming your tamales. Enjoy the fruits of your labor along with a cup of champurrado, Mexican hot chocolate.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
This class is suitable for ages 14+ with an adult present. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.

The class was awesome. I can't remember the name of the chef that was actually teaching the class, but I'm guessing it was the resident chef. Either way, my wife and I had a great time learning about making pasta from scratch. It was much simpler than we realized and tasted great. We ended up getting the hand crank pasta maker after the class and are super excited to make our own pasta in the future.

we had a great time with chef chris he was great at keeping everyone involved and having an upbeat class i would definitely recommend this as a fun date night idea, the food was amazing as well :)

I think the chef was a little unprepared and disorganized. Also, the chef should circulate through the class more to make sure everyone gets some 1 on 1 time with the instructor. Course was kind of expensive for what little it covered.

The food came out great. I felt the whole experience was very rushed. I did not like sharing a station and ingredients with another couple, especially since there were four stations in the kitchen, and only three couples and we were all crowded around 2 stations. This setup also prevented us from being able to perform all the techniques.

Yes, was a fun class. Chef was wonderful and great personality and his assistant was nice and accommodating too. Loved the recipes and learning to build & cook them with my friends. Would highly Suggest to have POTHOLDERS available for safety when we are grabbing the HOT Pan handles while cooking- several of us had quite the shock of grabbing a HOT handle with no potholders available.~ especially when it’s connected to a Kitchen Store…? Thanks for teaching me a bit of Chinese cooking ??

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with this cooking class and had so much fun! Would have been better with a little wine or champagne but it was great. We've already made a few of the dishes!!

This was a fun and wonderful class. The recipes were delicious . Chef Chris was a true professional chef. She gave little inside tips, was very good at explaining the recipes. I would take another class with Chef Chris!

Chef Tanya and Jake, the cooking instructors, were terrific! They not only shared valuable tips for cooking but also for prepping and cleaning the station. I was thrilled with the class and can't wait to sign up for another one. If you're interested, book your spot on a Saturday or Sunday.

What a great class. From the beginning with regard to explaining the different variations that we were going to make. Guiding us in the preparing of the ingredients and working with us in the cooking of the ingredients and how it all comes together . The end result the best getting to eat what we made. Delicious. Our family of 3 (including a teen son) really enjoyed this class. The recipes were easy to figure out and make, and it's nice to have the book to refer to the 3 things we made, as well as all of the other content. Chef Kelley was very helpful, friendly, and encouraging with our son!

It was so much fun! Learned several techniques from Chef Miguel and the food was amazing. I believe the small class size helped. I would recommend this class.

My husband and I had an enjoyable time. The food turned out excellent. Chef Joy and the others in the class were delightful to be around. There was a lot of standing. I wish we had been able to at least sit down to eat the delicious food. Overall great experience.

I loved the class. The ladies I was paired up with were a little chatty so was hard to listen to chef! Before class I was very intimidated but after class I was I got this! Excited to try making fresh pasta my self! Great class over all would definitely take again!
