Cooking Class - A Study in Classic Indian Cuisine

Chef Rakhi guides you through preparation of classic Indian cuisine with slight innovative twists.

Inspired by Mughlai's rich, fragrant and spice-filled dishes, this hands-on cooking class leads you through the techniques necessary to replicate traditional Indian recipes and take them home.

Master the use of spices as you form lentil and beef kababs for a savory appetizer. Next, discover how best to cook chicken (optional) with vegetables, basmati rice and spices for a stunning rice dish of biryani, and slice and dice ingredients for a yogurt raita sauce. Dessert showcases versatile vermicelli kheer, an Indian pudding made with milk and sugar.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Rakhi led us through a really interesting and insightful cooking class and we were so happy we came. She made it a really great experience and was as much of an entertainer as she was a chef. Good luck with finklestein.

Took the vegetarian Indian classics cooking class with my brother and sister and it was a blast. The chef made sure to include everyone in the cooking process, which I really liked. The food was absolutely amazing and so simple!
