In this cooking class, Chef Afreen will teach you how to prepare a magnificent Mediterranean meal! Calling on the flavors of the Middle East and working with seasonal California produce, Chef Afreen blends modern practices with classic aromas and flavors.
Chef Afreen will cook a grilled sweet pepper dish with kale, goat cheese, and a lovely pomegranate glaze. She'll also serve farro puls (ground farro grains) with toasted almonds and sultanas for a creative twist on couscous as well as a tasty grilled chicken dish with Ras el hanout and preserved lemons. Chef Afreen will conclude the meal with a delicious seasonal fruit dessert.
Guests will have the opportunity to take part in preparing some of the dishes while learning extensively from the chef. Guests are also welcome to bring their own wine to accompany the dinner.
