Cooking Class - Classic Japanese Sushi Spread
In this hands-on sushi-making class, learn the ancient art of rolling Japan’s most iconic dish as Chef Lisa teaches you how to make authentic sushi rolls with modern twists.
Begin with warming miso soup featuring shiitake mushrooms, then make onigiri rice balls with your choice of fillings like sweet plum or chicken teriyaki. You’ll also learn how to make sushi rolls with rice on both the inside and the outside with selected ingredients, including fish, tofu and vegetables. Finally, whip up green tea and ginger gelato as a creamy dessert.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
