Cooking Class - Vegetarian Thai Selections

This hands-on cooking class brings the fresh flavor of vegetables to the fore in a vegetarian take on Thai cuisine. Chef Ridic is eager to share his secrets for transforming traditional Thai recipes into plant-focused masterpieces.

Begin your lesson by preparing a savory red curry pumpkin hummus served with a selection of crudités. Then, create a rich green curry, peppered with eggplant, broccoli and cauliflower and warmly flavored with onions. And for a refreshing fruit-centered dessert, whip up a mango coconut pudding topped with mint and cherries.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Ridic was awesome! I hired him to do the private cooking class as a surprise for my husbands birthday. Chef was very laid back and personable, with a friendly approach to teaching. Chef Ridic showed me how to make a roux for a gumbo. I had no idea there were several different kinds of rouxs. Learning how to make sauces and roux are something I have been trying to gain more skills and knowledge on. Thanks Chef Ridic for helping me with this.
