Cooking Class - Refreshing Gourmet Bites

What You'll Do

Small bites are the star of the show in this hands-on class.

Join Chef Greg for an interactive cooking class where you'll learn how to make several fresh, appetizer-sized dishes.

First, practice your knife skills as you chop ingredients for a seafood ceviche sprinkled with herbs and citrus juices. Then, learn how to handle smoked salmon as you prepare smoked salmon cornets with silky cream cheese and crunchy daikon radish. Next, chop tomatoes and basil to make bruschetta, perfect atop crusty bread. Whip up a decadent chocolate mousse for the final course.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Greg is friendly, knowledgable, organized, clean and efficient. We learned how to make the Five Mother Sauces and he prepared three main courses to demonstrate how they can be used - to delicious effect! He cleaned up the kitchen as we worked so our small workspace never became cluttered. The food was delicious and we had several meals of leftovers, making the experience an incredible value! I look forward to our next class with Chef Greg!

We asked Greg to teach us (2 couples) as a Valentine's day dinner treat and had a blast. Greg was professional, personable and enjoyed teaching. We learned about and made New England style clam chowder, chicken marsala, peppercorn steak, and bananas foster. Each step used fresh, quality ingredients. We were impressed with the restaurant quality dishes prepared so personally and the sprinkling of culinary history in between.
