Discover the influential history and signature techniques of traditional French cooking with Chef Jared.

In this interactive cooking class, Chef Jared will teach you classic French techniques derived from 16th century culinary traditions. You will learn foundational skills that are a signature of French cuisine while you prepare this rich and elegant menu.

Begin by making light and smoky salmon blini canapés to whet your appetite. Next, layer deep and savory flavors with juicy chicken thighs, mushrooms, vegetables, parsley, thyme and red wine to make a classic coq au vin. For dessert, create a bright and creamy, blueberry crème brûlée.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

My husband and I took this class as something different to do. We both really enjoyed it. Chef Jared was very helpful and knowledgeable while keeping the environment fun. Also the food was amazing! Was able to take home some leftovers and recipes so we can make this in the future.

Jared was very interactive and explained each step of the process. There were a few things that he did in advance to save time, but he was good to explain what and why. Enjoyable experience.
